Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA)

The Master of Public Policy and Administration program uses public service education develop leadership and problem-solving roles. York College MPPA students learn to understand the policy challenges and administrative problems facing their organizations or communities and employ the methods, techniques, and strategies that will help them make appropriate and efficient decisions. This program also offers certificates in Public Policy and Administration and Urban Planning.

Master of Arts in Music Industry Studies

The Master’s in Music Industry Studies is an interdisciplinary program catered specifically to the dynamic field of production, management, and entertainment. Students explore cultural theory while also gaining an in-depth understanding of entertainment law and all the factors involved with the industry. Hands-on learning at YCP’s studio production company allows students to develop a practical understanding before they pursue their careers.

Students pursing a Master of Accounting build upon their foundation and develop exceptional analytical skills in accounting while becoming familiar with taxation, auditing, and professional research. Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC)

The MA in Integrated Marketing Communications provides both the theory and practical experiences in advertising, public relations, social media, brand management, and marketing research, all of which are critical for marketing in any industry. As a hands-on program, students’ capstone project will entail work done directly with clients to design and execute a campaign.

Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership and Management

The Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership and Management is an interdisciplinary program that prepares graduates to be leaders within their career field. Emphasizing both leadership theory and practical application, such topics as negotiation, change management, design thinking, ethical decision-making, and team leadership prepare students for any challenge. The program focuses especially on soft skills, such as communication and critical thinking, to empower students as effective leaders.

  • The full-time program, for recent undergraduates or professionals changing their career path, employs self-assessment of one’s own strengths and opportunities, all while learning to cultivate essential such career skills as personal branding, interviewing, and networking. Students also complete a master’s research project.
  • The part-time program, designed for professionals who will continue to work as they earn their degree, assesses leadership as a widely applicable skill and a qualitative assessment of the global marketplace. Students learn to identify critical issues that face businesses while focusing on social awareness, ethical dilemmas, and how to develop and communicate sound arguments regarding organizational improvements.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed to meet the needs of students who seek an integrated program for development as a professional manager and leader. Students develop managerial skills in policy formulation, problem solving, decision making, and leadership. MBA candidates build a solid base for continuous self-development as a practicing manager in their field of specialization.

Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS)

The AGCNS program prepares nurses to specialize in the use of evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes and solve problems in healthcare systems. It ultimately provides students with a solid theoretical foundation and advanced-practice clinical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings.

Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Primary Care

With 672 clinical hours with adult and geriatric patients, AGPCNP students are trained to provide expert care to their patients, specializing in the diagnosis and management of common and complex medical conditions for adolescents and adults.

Master of Science – Nurse Educator

The Nurse Educator track provides students with a solid theoretical foundation and advanced-level clinical experiences in a variety of health care settings. Students learn how to use evidence-based teaching strategies combined with specialization in advanced-level clinical care for adult patients. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the national certified nurse educator (CNE) exam, having engaged in rigorous coursework and 224 clinical practice hours.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
