The Graduate Nursing Program at Molloy College offers a Masters of Science degree in nursing specialties pertinent to contemporary nursing. A foundation of core courses prepares students with a theoretical base and processes prior to study in the selected specialty area. The program offers convenient evening courses delivered in both hybrid and traditional formats.

The Doctor of Nursing Practice is a clinical practice-focused program in Nursing that prepares advanced practice nurses to design, implement, manage and evaluate health care delivery systems and patient populations based upon research utilization. The clinical-based DNP program represents a complementary alternative to the research-based Ph.D. program at Molloy College. Emphasis is placed on practice inquiry and evidence-based translational research.
Admissions
Students must have a Master of Science in Nursing degree, advanced practice certification, and be registered as a nurse practitioner in order to apply. Please review the other admission requirements.

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing program at Molloy College prepares nurses for leadership roles in a variety of organizations, health-related agencies, and educational institutions. Through scholarly inquiry and intellectual engagement, the graduate will generate new knowledge by designing and conducting research to advance the science of nursing.
Admissions
Admission requirements include an advanced degree in nursing (baccalaureate and/or master’s), minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in master’s program, official GRE score, resume, personal statement, 3 letters of recommendation. Please review the admission requirements here.
