Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology
In order to become clinically certified as a speech-language pathologist, candidates must earn a graduate degree, successfully complete the required clinical experiences (during academic preparation and as a post-graduate fellow) and pass a national examination (PRAXIS). Additionally, speech-language pathologists must also meet professional state regulatory (licensure or education certification) standards. The Molloy College masters program prepares students with the necessary coursework and clinical experience for clinical certification by the Council for Clinical Certification (CFCC) of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) as a speech-language pathologist, as well as professional licensure in New York State.
Admissions
To be considered for this program students must submit a graduate application, GRE, letters of reference and submit pre-requisite coursework.
