Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Molloy College is a New York State Approved counseling program. The 60-credit program includes a 1-semester practicum and 1-year internship. Students have a high placement rate across Long Island and New York. Past students have noted that the program faculty and class environment supportive professional and personal Additionally, the program ascribes to the highest standards and anticipates approval of CACREP accreditation in 2018.
Admissions
A baccalaureate degree of 3.0 or higher, 3 letters of recommendation, current resume, and GRE score are a part of the admissions process. Applications are due April 1 but may be reviewed after this date on a space-available basis. Learn more about the admissions requirements here.
Program Options
At the current time, classes meet back- to-back one evening a week. During the summer semester, sessions are shorter and more intensive, usually meeting daily, but still in the evenings.

Master of Science in Social Work
Molloy College offers two flexible study options and two campus locations to earn a graduate degree in Social Work. Students will earn a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) through a partnership with Fordham University. Take courses face-to-face at Fordham’s Lincoln Center Campus or take courses that mix online and on campus learning at Molloy College in Long Island.
Admissions
A baccalaureate degree, 1 letter of recommendation, and current resume are a part of the admissions process.
Program Options
This program can be completed entirely on campus at Fordham University or through a mixture of online and on-campus courses (hybrid) at Molloy College.

Master of Science in Criminal Justice
The Molloy College Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice has 15 credit hours of core courses, with 18 credit hours of electives that students’ can choose from based on career interest.

Master of Science in Music Therapy
This program is designed for music therapists and experienced musicians who want to be equipped for advanced clinical practice in music therapy and music psychotherapy. This program will prepare students for board certification for music therapy. The credits required to complete the program depends on the student’s previous degree and there are several ways to enter the program in music therapy.
