Students must have some 30 credit hours of from another college or university. Molloy recognizes that learning also occurs outside of the classroom. Students may earn Prior Learning Credit through:
- Standardized proficiency exams (CLEP, DSST and UExcel)
- Non-collegiate course evaluations (ACE, National CCRS)
- Molloy challenge examinations (based on academic department)

Degree Completion for RN’s
The degree completion program for registered nursing students provides advanced placement for Associate degree or diploma program RNs through either transfer of credit or through testing (See College catalog).
Affordability & Admissions
Students must submit the following:
- Current New York State License registration certificate
- Malpractice insurance with coverage of $1,000,000 per claim/3,000,000 aggregate
- Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Evidence of Infection Control training
- A completed Division of Nursing Physical Form. Attach titer lab sheets for initial physical only.
