Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies
The B.A. in Organizational Studies is perfect for students who want to embrace leadership and management roles within an organization. The program is taught by faculty who are also working professionals. Thus, students learn directly from experienced professionals about topics like communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making. Students will also learn about the basic principles of any organization, which include structure, culture, and legal environment. There are also a handful of minors available so that students can narrow down the focus of their studies.
Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Technology
This breakthrough program combines the principles of organizational leadership with the implementation of technology-related solutions. The program’s curriculum is split between the two disciplines, with students taking 24 credit hours in organizational leadership and 24 credit hours in technology courses. Finally, classes are taught by faculty with professional experience.
Bachelor of Science in Project Management
The Project Management program trains students to become exceptional leaders who can manage resources, reach goals, and affect change. As part of the program, students learn the five basic processes of project management, which include: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.

Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management
As the only Jesuit university with an emergency management program, SLU has paved the way for Catholicism to work in conjunction with disaster relief and aid. Students enrolled in the program learn how to incorporate their faith, while assisting others in time of emergency and relief. The Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management is a multidisciplinary program with instruction in communications, firefighting, public health and medical, search and rescue, hazardous materials, law enforcement, military, social services, and business continuity, to name a few.
Bachelor of Science in Social Work
The Social Work program at SLU explores human behavior, social environment, and the US social welfare system. Students will spend time in a social service agency along with a supervisor. Courses are available on campus.
RN to BSN
The RN to BSN program at Saint Louis University can be taken in either a part- or full-time capacity, and the University does not require testing to validate previous nursing education. Interested students must have completed at least 55 credit hours of prior nursing curriculum, including classes in communication, behavioral and social science, mathematics, and life sciences. Some students will be eligible to receive up to 38 credit hours for passing the NCLEX and/or prior work experience. Once a student has passed their pre-nursing credits or transferred their credits in from another institution, they will be ready to transfer to the School of Nursing, where they can complete their degree in as little as two semesters.
Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management
Saint Louis’ Aviation Management degree is one of the most unique programs offered by the University. Though there is an option to complete the degree on campus, it is also offered completely online. In fact, the online degree is one of only a handful available in the world! Students enrolled in the program gain an expert knowledge of technical language, as well as learn how to manage airlines and direct corporate flights.
Through a partnership with Midwest Helicopter, students are also able to gain actual flight experience and eventually earn commercial pilot ratings and certificates as a fixed-wing or helicopter pilot.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems
SLU’s Computer Information Systems program uses both theoretical concepts and lab work to prepare students for successful, technology-based careers. Students must complete 120 credit hours and must also choose from three specialized tracks: Data Analytics, Information Security and Assurance, or Health Care Information Systems. No matter which track a student chooses, they will graduate with advanced training in design, analytics, practical application, and implementation.
Bachelor of Science in Security and Strategic Intelligence
The Security and Strategic Intelligence program prepares students to become expert analysts who know how to manage threats to security. The program also explores the relationship between analysts and decision-makers, with an emphasis on proper and effective communication. Students may choose from 3 specific tracks, which include Business Continuity, Strategic Intelligence, and Global Corporate Security.
Bachelor of Arts In General Studies
The General Studies program at SLU is an exploration of diverse perspectives. Through exciting and varied coursework, students will gain valuable knowledge and skills in the areas of communication, leadership, analytics, technology, ethical development, service, and much more! The program concludes with a capstone experience, with an additional option to choose a concentration (12 credit hours).
SLU accepts up to 64 transfer credits from community colleges and up to 90 credit hours from four-year, accredited institutions. In some cases, an associate’s degree may also be accepted.
