The \u201cWise Words\u201d Scholarship is designed to give students time to reflect on a quote that has influenced their lives in a positive manner. Any written or spoken phrase which carries a special meaning for you may be submitted. Students of any education level are eligible for this scholarship.<\/p>\n

Bryent Smothermon PTSD Awareness Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n

Deadline: May 14, 2022<\/b><\/p>\n

Award Amount: $1,000<\/b><\/p>\n

Overview: <\/b>To honor his legacy, the Bryent Smothermon PTSD Awareness Scholarship exists to support military veterans and their children who have suffered from PTSD or have been affected by someone who has suffered from PTSD. All military vets and children of military vets currently in school are eligible.<\/p>\n

To apply, please write about the things you have learned about yourself or the world around you through your experiences with PTSD. Please also discuss how you hope to use your experience to help others currently suffering from PTSD.<\/p>\n
