Fort Hays State University’s College of Education offers a number of graduate programs with online, hybrid, and on campus courses. These flexible courses offer students the opportunity to complete a degree or certificate on their own schedule.

Education Administration & Leadership

The College of Education’s Department of Advanced Educational Programs offers three ways to prepare students for leadership positions. Students can pursue tracks toward general leadership, school building principal, or superintendent positions.

Master of Science in Educational Administration – Building Principal

The M.S. in Educational Administration program is 36 hours and prepares students for challenges facing school principals. The two-year program is additionally accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

The Department of Advanced Education online programs include combinations of interactive tools such as Blackboard, Skype, Google Apps, and more. This allows for a more collaborative experience when pursuing an online degree.

The Clinical Mental Health Counseling program offers courses online, as well as on campus during convenient weekend times. The School Counseling program allows mentors to teach theory and practice – students will be prepared to successfully complete internships during their study.
