Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry Leadership

Designed for working professionals and delivered at one of Eastern’s Greater Philadelphia area campuses, our blended online delivery model combines the rich learning environment of a classroom approach with the convenience of online distance learning.

Classroom Type

The majority of the courses in this program are offered 100% online. One course (not required of Young Life partner students) requires a one-week residency in late May in the Greater Philadelphia area at some point of their time during the program. This course will include traveling to various ministry sites to interact with youth ministry professionals in the field. Our youth ministry faculty are all experienced practitioners who bring to the classroom practical expertise as well as youth ministry scholarship.

Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education

This accelerated cohort program (ACED) is designed to help qualified working adults complete a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Pre K through 4th grade) in approximately 2.5 years or less, depending on course load (66 credits). Students become eligible for Pennsylvania State certification when they complete this program with a 3.0 GPA, earn 190 observation hours, successfully pass their PECT exam, successfully pass their Basic Skills Assessment, and complete student teaching on the graduate level.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing – BSN Two2

Eastern University has developed a program to help students who have non-nursing bachelor’s degrees prepare for a nursing career in as little as two years of full-time study. The second degree nursing program, BSN Two2 prepares the student for a career as a baccalaureate-prepared nursing professional. Equipped with a previous degree and the prerequisites, the student enters the program as a junior BSN student.

With clinical rotations offered in a variety of settings, the student has the opportunity to view nursing in a number of ways from outpatient to inpatient to the critical care unit. With a state of the art Nursing Clinical Resource lab and committed faculty and staff, the graduate will be exposed to a number of nursing specialties and be prepared to practice as a nurse generalist.

Classes are offered in a traditional semester-based format with a new cohort starting each January.

The mission of the Associate of Arts (AA) Program is to provide a solid foundation in written and oral communication, social and natural sciences, mathematics, technology, health, fine arts and humanities. Mission-specific courses emphasize and integrate Christian faith, reason, and justice in the curriculum. Providing broad exposure to a variety of disciplines, systems of thought and inquiry, the AA program prepares students for baccalaureate programs and career advancement.
